My brand new album is available now! The Insomnia Report The Insomnia Report by Chilltastic ALS
We live in a time where we can literally find any type of music we want, yet we still choose to let the radio tell us what's "hot"

Rhyme In Graffiti

So... Rhyme In Graffiti is doing relatively well, considering the idea behind it. Probably my best work yet. But I'l let you be the judge

I've decided that Rhyme In Graffiti is gonna be the next single I drop. Shooting for June 20th as the release date. That should give me enough time to get the mix straightened out...

Shooting a few scenes for my verse on  "Bar None"  from the "IAMDJDEEZY" Album. Go check that out by the way...
This week's episode somehow got us into  the conversation of what a "conscious" rapper is. Too many blurred lines if you ask me...
So for those of you who haven't heard the School's In Podcast This particular Episode was about Born To Use Mics, a book about Nas' Classic album Illmatic...
Finally got the Bandcamp Page up and running. It's gonna be a journey, but between this music and the  School's In Podcast  I'm gonna be pretty busy. Might as well use the time while I have it... Weekenders   is a dope song by the way

So... I've gathered 6 Cudda Mack beats for my next project NO FUNERAL. For those of you who  remember the song I did a few years back No Funeral was really just about how Music or more  specifically Hip Hop can't be dead... This project is going to expand on that idea even more.  Basically the idea is to create lyrics that'll compliment the most liveliest beats I have, to show that  music can't be dead if it sounds this live. My focus is to finish this before the end of the summer.
New song out... https://soundcloud.com/chilltasticals/weekenders-featuring-tahmar-prod-by-tabloid-beats
Been away from it for a while... Gotta get back to work

Second Verse Love over war, peace over conflict youngins under 25 die over nonsense  Especially in my city it's gritty you know the north side west side south side yeah it's outside  The war Prodigy was talking about too lazy to march for freedom we just walking it out  No respect for none of our women we dogging em out I speak truth what you blogging about?  This reality rap why in the world would you call it a trap self-imprisonment is more suitable for the act  I produce passionate poetry with my penmanship our ancestors had Dreams we're diminishing it  When I say we, I'm speaking as a generation we gon set ourselves up with the detonation  If we keep going the same direction take a look in the mirror it's just a reflection of the real

Maybe You're The Problem!

Maybe You’re The Problem! I’m realizing the problem with  Hip Hop… It’s not the commercialization of the negative images or misogynistic lyrics that plague the culture, it’s the lack of critical thinking applied by the listeners. I believe that if more fans were to pick the brain of an artist rather than label them as a bad role model or even except everything they say as the truth, a deeper meaning or self reflection could be applied to the argument. Just think… If a bad person person were to break in your house to hurt, rob, or rape you; there’s no time to think about why that person is doing this to you. Hip hop gives us the time and the space to learn about an artist or that “bad person” and reflect on the roots of their thought process, giving us the ammunition needed to show that “bad person” the error of their ways or even learn from that person and prevent them from doing more harm to others. The problem with Hip Hop, is that most people dismiss the culture as “a y...
